Labor History: Manufacturing Sector

There are twelve production/distribution type operations in Searcy with over one hundred employees. Only one of these operations has union-affiliated labor, representing only eight percent of Searcy's workforce. Since 1989 there have been only two union elections, with employees rejecting the unions in both instances. In the same period there was only one work stoppage, which resulted in a mere ten days lost. Union Elections
