Searcy and White County have a diverse economic base, which contributes to the county's high quality of life and low unemployment. Searcy’s partnership with business and industry is coordinated and facilitated by the Searcy Regional Economic Development Corporation and the Searcy Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Our area is located in the center of Arkansas’s Fayetteville Shale formation. Since 2006 Searcy and surrounding areas have seen a huge impact from the exploration boom that has hit our region. The Searcy Regional Economic Development Corporation’s “100 for the Future” is an organization made up of a group of business and professional people who are concerned with the economic and industrial growth of Searcy and White County; each whom invests a minimum of $250 per year.
